Social Enterprise City Festival 2020 banner

Welcome to the Annual Plymouth Social Enterprise City Festival 2021- Local Action:Global Goals

This is the events and update page for the exciting city wide festival happening this November

Every year we support and enable social purpose businesses to open their doors, share their knowledge, make new connections and strengthen the sector together. This is our 12th year of running the festival, after taking it online last year due to the lockdown we are coming back with a bigger, better and more inclusive event for 2021. We want to really highlight the incredible social enterprise economy right here in Plymouth, and to create opportunities for skill sharing, inspiring, learning, socialising, connecting and profile raising. Read more about the festival in this article from the Chronicle.

We are in the Decade of Action to rise to the challenge of meeting the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, and we know that all businesses need to work together to create the future we all deserve. This two week event will take a look at the Sustainable Development Goals and work out how we can all take Local Action for the Global Goals.

The festival will run for two weeks from 15th November to 26th November, showcasing the sustainable development goals and picking up themes and discussions from the COP26 to make ‘doing better’ a whole lot easier for us all. We will upload events as they roll in, if they don’t have a booking link then keep your eyes peeled! If you’d like to get involved you can Add your event ideas here and we’ll be in touch very soon to confirm with you.

There is an opportunity to learn in everything we do and knowledge sharing is an easy way to work towards the new, more caring economy that we all crave. We need YOU to help make it happen though – #DoingBusinessDifferently

Please be aware that by signing up for any event, you agree to:
* Photos being taken during the event with you in it, these images may be used for the organizer and PSEN promotional and evaluation purposes.
