Opportunity for free, business consultancy advice from Plymouth Business School students
In today’s globalised world, more students are going to university than ever before and graduates need more than just their degree to stand out from the crowd to potential employers. They need the work-ready skills essential for entering into graduate roles.
Inspiring Futures enhances the entrepreneurial and employability skills of Plymouth Business School undergraduate students from the very start of their journey at university. It gives them the opportunity to work on consultancy projects which address real business issues, set by organisations from the private, public and third sector of all sizes from pre-start-ups through to well established businesses. In turn, the business or organisation benefits from free business advice from a team of Business students. In addition to the potential financial gains from participating in Inspiring Futures, clients frequently say how beneficial it is to work with the students as they bring fresh eyes and thinking to their organisation.
We are currently looking for project briefs which students would undertake in February. Students work remotely, usually in groups of 5, on a low risk, not business critical project brief. Suitable projects include: online competitor analysis; social media strategy; research funding options; supplier analysis; website review; identify potential markets for existing or new products.
