Plymouth Energy Community would like to invite you to join the celebration at the site on Ernesettle Lane, on Tuesday 7 June between 4 and 7pm.
Plymouth Energy Community (PEC) have partnered with Plymouth City Council and Four Greens Community Trust to build a 4.1MW solar array on derelict land in Ernesettle. Already built and generating enough clean energy to meet the annual needs of 1000 homes, a short-term construction loan allowed the array to be built in advance of the looming cuts to renewables. To maximise community benefit and keep ownership local, PEC aim to refinance the project with a combination of community shares and a long-term loan from Plymouth City Council.
With £50 or more, anyone over 16 can buy community shares, get a target return of 6% and help generate long-term support for economic development, fuel poverty and climate change projects in Plymouth. Please visit www.plymouthenergycommunity.com/invest to find out more, download the Share Offer Document and to purchase shares.
