Social Enterprise: Fringe or Opportunity for Real Transformation?

Plymouth Social Enterprise Network AGM
Tuesday 15th May, 1pm at Wolseley Trust Community Resource Building, Wolseley Business Park, 27 Wolseley Close, Plymouth, PL2 3BY

We have a confirmed speaker for the AGM next week. Professor Peter Lloyd will give a talk about: “Social Enterprise: Fringe or Opportunity for Real Transformation?” Peter has been around social economy and social enterprise for more than two decades. His brief talk will range from the general to the very practical. Beginning with a short introduction on how the social enterprise idea has moved around in a changing context and where it appears to be heading now, he will also introduce ‘BRIAN’. Part-invented in Plymouth a decade ago; this is a tool that can help managers of social enterprises explore how well-equipped they are creatively to respond to changing circumstances. You can read more about Peter here: http://ow.ly/aPHK7.

There are still a few car parking spaces left, if you have not already done so please email to confirm you would like a space: gareth@plymsocent.org.uk

I would love to be able to record Peter doing his talk and have the video up on this site (or YouTube) for future viewings. Is anyone who is coming in possession of a camera and mike who could record him? Thanks!
