The network was represented on Friday at the ‘Business Leaders’ debate about developing enterprise and entrepreneurship in the city.
The Question Time type discussion in front of a live audience was chaired by Bill Martin, Editor of the Western Morning News (previously Editor of the Plymouth Herald).
The panellists were: Alison Seabeck MP, Plymouth City Councillor Ted Fry, Tim Jones (Chair of the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership), David Parlby (Chamber of Commerce), Bev Hurley (Outset Plymouth/YTKO), Nigel Godefroy (Ex-Sutton Harbour Holdings) and Gareth Hart (representing the Plymouth Social Enterprise Network).
Questions included asking about encouraging entrepreneurship in young people, gender diversity, spending locally and advising new businesses.
